Two weeks on from my error of judgement and subsequent injury and I’m only just walking properly again. I can’t believe it’s taken 2 whole weeks to be able to use my right achilles tendon for pushing off when walking. Still it feels great to be able to get around without hobbling.
I’m going to leave it another 2 whole weeks until I start getting back into some training, which will begin with 100-Ups rather than any real running. I figure as they are done without the linear motion then the impact should be less, so it’s ideal for both getting back into running and easing my poorly achilles back into doing something. With a bit of luck it will recover to be even stronger than before.
